We can provide: legal resource information. appropriate community referrals for legal, housing, counselling, parenting, educational upgrading, job training, health and wellness services. advocacy with other service providers. accompaniment and support for meetings with lawyers, police, Crown Attorney. information about the family and criminal court process and about Legal Aid. court preparation, tour and accompaniment. information and assistance with legal documents (victim impact statement, financial statements, etc.). support for friends and family of assault victims. community education (speakers and resources on many aspects of the legal process).
