As an employer, what would you do if...

...Sue came to work with bruising on her face,
and her boyfriend was unexpectedly waiting in the parking lot to take her home?

...Bryan, a senior manager
received 25 calls a day from his ex-wife?

Every employer and manager wants to provide the safest work environment they can for their employees, their customers and their community.

Sadly, one area that poses a real and dangerous risk to a safe work environment is domestic violence. As part of the amendment to Bill 168, legislation requires businesses that employ 5 or more workers to provide training to employees on how to respond to domestic violence in the workplace. Abusers often stalk their victims at work, posing real safely concerns for the victim, co-workers and customers.
