Looking for a way to achieve your school’s character development
objectives and improve your students’ skills and capacity to interact
in respectful, non-violent ways?

Family Transition Place (FTP) is pleased to offer a wide range of violence prevention Youth Education Programs that support the Ontario Ministry of Education Curriculums for grades 4 through 12.

Our goal is to raise respect in relationships and eliminate violence in our communities.  As part of that objective, we strive to support principals, teachers and support staff in their efforts to make school a safe and rewarding experience for all students.  Utilizing inter-active, multi-media learning, the program speaks to all learning styles and engages students’ cognitive, behavioural and emotional learning processes.

Since our Youth Education Program began in 2001, more than 36,500 students have benefitted from our violence prevention programming!

Family Transition Place is able to offer this program at no cost to parents, schools or school boards in Caledon/Dufferin thanks to our generous supporters whose contributions cover the cost of this program.  Should you wish to make a tax deductible donation to Family Transition Place, please visit our donation page.
